5 Months ago Mark decided to change his body for the better. He embraced our Total Transformation Plan and committed himself 100%. He ate what we told him, trained when we told him, even went to bed and got up when we told him ( and yes he does have a job and a life ). The results are incredible and we are very proud of him. For Mark’s requirements he trained 3 intense weights sessions a week, had cardio homework, a radical new eating regime and food supplementation. Through absolute 100% dedication and devotion to the plan, designed for him by Switch, Mark has achieved outstanding results and an excellent level of physical fitness.

Having been reluctant in the past to join a gym, I decided just over year ago to act on my fitness and body shape so I became a member at the De-Vere Daresbury Park. My key reason for joining the gym was so that I could wear a slim fit shirt, a pair of 32 inch jeans and feel better about myself! Once I became a member I met James and Mike of Switch Fitness. With their knowledge and abundance of energy they advised me on nutrition and the correct training program which has transformed my life, look and boosted my confidence. My only regret is not doing it sooner!

Miss Lucinda Rose

When Lucinda started training with Switch she only had one goal in mind, weight loss. During her time with us she has remained focussed and driven towards her end goal. There have been times when she has strayed from her path but weight loss is a journey, not a race and Lucinda is a great example of that.

Switch are incredibly proud of Lucinda and realise just how many sacrifices she has made to get to where she currently is.

Lucinda's training has consisted of resistance work, aerobic and anaerobic cardiovascular work, flexibility and HIIT training. Not to mention some fairly radical eating changes!!!

I have been asked to say a few things about my experience with Switch Fitness so here I go!

Having been a Yo-Yo dieter for many years and quitting smoking I had become increasingly unhappy with my size and lack of fitness. I decided to get back to the gym and attempt to do something about it. It was there that I noticed James and Mike training others and I thought I would give it a try.

I spoke to Mike in the gym who advised I book a session with him. I felt a little anxious about this as Iknew i was out of shape and to be honest was quite embarrassed. I had an initial assessment with James who was lovely and immediately put me at ease. After the assessment I was good to go.

I had my first session with Mike in April 2010, Mikes enthusiasm was contagious and his knowledge about exercise and nutrition was extensive. he gave me a diet that wasn't too strict but wasn't easy and a workout that although was hard at first it was varied and kept me challenged.

i have never looked back since. I now see mike once or twice a month, mainly because I enjoy the sessions so much but he also gives me new ideas for my workouts. Mike and James are always at hand for advice if I need it. Not only have I lost all the weight I wanted to I am managing to keep it off. I have found a new love of exercise and have even entered a few competitions. My life has completely changed for the better.

I've got to say without the constant support and encouragement from Mike and James I would not be as fit or as happy as I am today. I would definately recommend Switch Fitness to anyone looking to get fitter or get into shape. Thanks Guys XXX

 


"I have now completed my Total Transformation Plan with Switch Fitness. I have been in training many times in the past but have never had the results I have had with Switch Fitness in such a short period. "Set yourself realistic achievable goals with the help of James and if you put the effort in James WILL ensure you achieve your targets. He is an excellent communicator, who pushes you to your limits, without it feeling like a chore. James is very knowledgeable and incredibly personable with a great way of explaining how your body works and a thorough experience and understanding of diet and nutrition. I was very sceptical and not a little nervous after not having done any strenuous physical exercise to speak of for 30 years. I set myself goals around weight loss, whilst James had fitness and health targets and whilst my journey is a long one I have achieved all my personal goals to date and done it without a great change to my fairly erratic lifestyle. James has always been massively supportive and encouraging and without his involvement I may have easily developed serious health issues. "I’ve been asked to say a few words regarding my Switch Fitness experience so here I go. I have been going to one gym or another for more years than I can remember but each time I went it was only to put a tick in the diary / memory bank to say I had done something that day and getting myself there was always a chore.

Then Switch Fitness came along. I had a chat with James who put me onto Mike and I haven't looked back. 6 months later and 2 sessions a week I feel healthier, fitter, stronger and slowly starting to look better (Jeans no longer tight). Even though the bank balance is definitely feeling the strain the benefits off my personal training far out-way this. As you start to see a marked difference in all aspects you want things to happen that much quicker but it’s unfortunately a marathon not a sprint.

Then there’s Mike! Mike is a young man with an abundance of energy and enthusiasm to teach and improve. Goals were set early and when reached new ones are set. Mike's knowledge regarding nutrition is extensive and this added to the training is such a bonus. The fact that we have become friends helps no end with the training which helps as you don't just think it's a business agreement.

Switch Fitness and personal training cannot go on for ever and the bank balance will tell me when I have to bring it to an end, (mike don't worry it's no time soon), but the knowledge of fitness and nutrition I will take away will be priceless. My brother once said that you have to get to a point where you don't feel that you have to go to the gym but want to go to the gym and with now going to the gym five days a week I am definitely at that stage where I enjoy going, (pain and all).

The journey has just begun and I have along way to go but hopefully with Mike and Switch Fitness’s help I will get there. It's a shame we have LAGER and weekends because I'm sure I would be half way there by now without them but what is the point of it all without a bit of fun along the way"
