Where do we start? Well what we are not going
to do is post a load of nutritional advice on our website!
There is enough of that on the internet already and what works
for one does most definitely NOT work for all.
There is also no point in stating that all
your success depends on the work you do in the gym; that you
require hours and hours of hard graft to sculpt your ideal
body or to strip the unwanted fat. The truth is that half
of your success depends solely on your nutrition.
All the hard work in the world will only
take you so far. Every single one of our clients who has achieved
their goals has done so because they have got to grips with
the hows and why's of their food intake. The food you eat
will do one or more of the following for you:
- Strip Fat
- Build Muscle
- Increase your strength
- Improve your fitness
- Provide better skin and facial appearance
- Make you healthier inside
Couple this with a correctly structured,
progressively advancing workout program, designed specifically
for your body type and goals and you are on to a winner! Don't
be deceived though, not everything you know about nutrition
is necessarilly right or the best thing for you. There is
a wealth of conflicting information out there, indeed even
between the different team members
at Switch Fitness we occasionally have conflicting ideas however
what we do have are basic, core, proven principles that have
been trialled on client after client. They have been modified,
tweaked and adapted over time and we now have what we believe
to be a rock solid group of nutritional principles to be adapted
for every type of client to get results
in the shortest time as possible.
A word of warning though, some of the most
effective plans we have devised, and a unique one is created
for each individual client, are not necessarily in line with
general thinking. Dont be alarmed though, we have team members
with Honours Degrees in exercise nutrition working on these
plans and these guys know what they are talking about.
As a regular Switch Fitness client we include
full nutritional control as standard. We are aware that most
Personal Training companies charge extra for the service however
if we don't help you with the nutrition part of your training
you are only ever going to get ( and we can only ever take
credit for ) 50% of your potential success. You will NEVER
achieve your goals if as a team we don't nail down your food
intake and teach you how to make the right choices.
A final note though. Nutrition and dieting
are not complicated things. 50% of succeeding is knowing what
to do, yes, but 50% is having the willpower to stick with
it. We know this and have seen it hundreds of times so all
of our uniquely designed plans have elements built into them
to ensure that the willpower element is helped as much as
possible.
It's not rocket science BUT it needs to be
right. Your success only leads to greater success for us.

Remember, there is no additional charge for
this. If you are a regular client of Switch, and by that we
mean a purchaser of 'PT Blocks' then this entire service,
including the monitoring and any Bodyfat% assessments required
are all included in the price.
If however you are interested solely in a
uniquely devised nutrition plan for yourself and you are not
a regular Switch Fitness Personal Training client then please
contact us and we can discuss your
needs and work out a price accordingly.
Please bear this in mind though; if you are
reading these pages because you are 'thinking' of
asking for our services to improve yourself in some way then
you must be prepared to have your eating looked at too. We
simply will not accept you if you are not willing to commit
to this 100%. If we think you will not succeed we will not
play. Our whole future existence as a company depends on YOU
being successful.
